Content: The 12 Main Distal Points
The main aspect of this course is to go over in detail the 12 most powerful distal points and their connections with other parts of the body (mainly joints.) The student will be shown how to needle (either stimulate or sedate) and to use as pressure points. Some of these points have the added advantage of helping to mobilise certain regions whilst going nowhere near the affected area. All of them are used to enhance local formulae of points.
Review of Formulae
We will review as much formulae as the class requires. This is the class lead aspect of the course. Whatever formula you need to go over we will cover. All major joints will also be covered.
Introduction to Cupping Therapy
Cupping is a great compliment to acupuncture. Good for cold muscular conditions, blood stimulation and many chronic conditions.
